The camp has a selection of comfortable safari tents each with a double and single bed,
en-suite shower, WC and wash basin. You won't find any noisy, polluting generators here: the whole lodge is powered almost
exclusively by the sun - lights, water, refridgeration and ample electricity for charging your cameras, mobile phones,
laptops etc. What's more, you are welcome to use our broadband satellite internet connection free-of-charge.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and also provide a number of activities e.g. drumming lessons,
cooking trip, village visit etc. which are included in the price of your Discover the River trip. You can hire our
7m boat for a tiger fishing trip (inc. fuel, guide, tackle & bait). N.B. At just £100 per day Bird Safari Camp
is probably the cheapest destination from Europe to catch Tiger fish and if
you just want to do some fishing from the side of the jetty, you are welcome to use our equipment free of charge.
That said, you may wish to do very little and simply soak up the atmosphere with a good
book. Fall asleep at night to the sounds of the bush - nightjar, owls etc. and start the day with a magnificent
dawn chorus of bird song as the forest awakes.
