If you're at the early stage of planning your holiday, it will be helpful to know the following:
- Your "travel window" i.e. earliest possible departure & latest possible return dates.
- Preferred duration.
- Preferred departure airport. N.B. We don't sell flights - but this influences which day of
the week you arrive in the Gambia and therefore which itineraries are possible. For links to

Gambian telecommunications have improved dramatically in recent years and are generally of a good standard. However, as I am usually
based at Bird Safari Camp, 200 miles up-river (and just outside of mobile internet coverage!), we have invested in our own broadband
satellite dish. This means we have a reasonably high speed internet connection and can make and receive telephone calls via Skype
(of varying quality...) for the cost of a UK call, or Skype-to-Skype for free.
